Each step is explained slowly and clearly, with plenty of time to practise.

What you’ll learn

• How to set up and thread a  domestic         sewing machine
• How to wind and insert a bobbin
• Basic stitches and sewing straight lines
• Simple seams and finishing
• A quick, take‑home project

Who is this class for

• Absolute beginners who have never used     a  sewing machine
• Anyone who wants a gentle introduction        before joining a longer course
• People who want to try sewing as a hobby     or gift idea
• Those who prefer small, friendly groups and patient teaching

Class details

Duration: 6 hours over two 3-hour sessions
• Price: £60
• Group size: Small classes to ensure personal attention
• Location:, Northolt Rectory park community centre
• All equipment provided: Machines, tools, thread, and basic fabric
You can also bring you own sewing machine ( lets us know when booking)

What to bring

• Just yourself and a smile everything else is provided.
• If you prefer to use your own machine, you’re welcome to bring it.
• A notebook is optional if you like to take notes.

How the class works

We start with a short demonstration, then you’ll try each step on your own machine.
I’ll be beside you to guide, correct, and cheer you on. The pace is relaxed and
supportive — mistakes are expected and celebrated as part of learning.

Do I need any experience?

No experience needed.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes, book two places and come together.

Is there parking?

Local parking is available; full details are sent after booking.

Can I book a private taster?

Yes, 1‑to‑1 tasters are available on request.
